Hi I'm Tim Weaver. My wife and I have been married and lived in the city of Hiram for 33 years and have raised two daughters. They both went to Hiram elementary, East Paulding/Dobbins middle school, and both graduated from Hiram High school. I also have two granddaughters. I'm a devout Christian and member of Riverside COG in Powder Springs. I love spending time with my family and watching my granddaughters play softball.
To sustain our community, we must encourage economic growth. I am committed to attracting new business, while supporting the ones we already have. By creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurship, we will not only generate jobs but also enhance the economic stability of our community.
Accountability is the cornerstone of effective governance. As our Mayor, I am committed to ensuring transparency, responsibility, and fiscal discipline in every aspect of city management. I believe in an open and transparent government, that works hand in hand with it’s residents. I will ensure that your voice will be heard and your concerns addressed. We will work together to maintain a government that is accountable to all of us, the residents of Hiram.
The heartbeat of our city is its people. I pledge to strengthen our sense of community by supporting local events, cultural activities, and initiatives that brings us closer together. I am passionate for the success of our future. I want to incorporate various youth activities such as scouts, athletics, and clubs. I believe that by offering such activities we can instill inclusion, confidence, and a sense of pride in our future generations.
Hiram’s natural beauty is one of our most precious assets. I am dedicated to preserving and enhancing our environment through sustainable urban planning and environmental conservation, to preserve a more vibrant Hiram for generations.
